The Earth's Outer Core

Picture
Thirdly we reach the Outer core! Divided into two layers inner and outer the Core takes place. Although the Inner Core is solid, the Outer Core is not, which means it is able to spin! The Earth's Outer Core is about 1,800-3,200 miles below the surface of the Earth. It is also liquid and made out of Nickel and/or Iron. The Outer Core temperature can rise from 4000-5000  ºcelsius! It is about 2,440 km across while still including the solid Inner Core.
