Here is a few macro shots from last year. I took them by focusing the camera, and then taking a picture. Personally, I really enjoyed the photography unit last year and it has helped me with many skills I can use in the future. I couldn't believe how much there was to learn about photography! But it pays off in the end. Therefore I would like to continue learning more about the different techniques of photography.
Skills include depth of field, macro/focus, rule of thirds, etc. *Photography is one of my passions now because of last year's photography unit.* *I took all these photo's.* :) *Some photos I took from another country!*
@ Cole - As you remember from last year, we spent a great deal of time on composition and creating a message from an image. I'm sure Sandy will reply with the meaning behind her photos. :)
Thank you. To be honest, I think every photo has some sort of meaning behind it, you just have to find it. Yes, they may be random photos but if you look at my cupcake photo. The meaning behind that is baking is one of my greatest passions.
:)

arg sorry sometimes this home computer messes up randomly that why i have spelling error's
-I do think we will be doing this unit again this year.
-The different skills such as macro shots because it helps you focus on the one thing you want to take a picture of.
-There are many different techniques, and if you are truly interested in them, I bet you can find a few links on Google.
-I have only been to one, other than Canada.
-Thank you.
-The country I went to is Lebanon.
I haven't really been to much cities... Plus, the more focused photos were taken when I borrow my moms camera. My camera doesn't take that good photos. But I try to take more pictures of cities.
:)
Those photos look very well done, great job. But I agree with Cole's response. Is there anything that you could tell us about why you took those photo's, also what do you like about photography? Great job!
Thank you. I took these photos for no specific reason. But are you asking what meaning is behind them like Cole? If so, each photo has a different meaning behind them but you just need to find it.

The cupcake shot looks like the best one out of all, I really like it. What lens did you use to get those photos and if you just used an Ipod/Iphone, How?
I like the cupcake shot the best to. Personally I think it looks the cleanest. I used a wide angle lens, with a camera similar to the ones the school owns. I also used another camera, but the lens says Olympus lens, which is the brand of it. (Olympus, but it is a cheaper camera so it doesn't take as good shots than the Sony)

Wow your so good at photography, and do you plan on doing something that involves it in the future?
Like I said to Hello and Bobby, I don't think so, but you never know where your passions will take you. On that note, I have a quote at the end of my Animoto that says "Folllow your passions, and success will follow you." I have only been to Lebanon and Canada. But I am not including the one I was born in because I left when I was really young.

@ sandy, those are some nice pics, I am just wondering where u got some if those pictures from?
Thanks! I took all the photos, but to be honest the photos are from many different places. A lot were taken from my own home, but some were taken at places like rogers arena- Canucks store, etc.
:)
@ Sandy - I really like that you watermarked your photographs with your website address! I think everyone should do that! www.mrhongsclass.com too! :) SUPER CREATIVE! I LIKE IT! :)
Thank you. I used a Sony camera, and an Olympus camera. I actually have taken many photos with my iPod but I haven't uploaded them yet, so I will probably to that when I can. I also like the ladybug one.
:)
I really love the picture of the lady bug! Like everyone else is asking, I want to know what camera you are using, and I really like how you wrote your website in small white letters! Do you have any other pictures like those? Maybe you could post them too? Did you use a photo editing app for the photos? Which country did you take the photos in? Sorry for all the questions;).........
Thanks! I noticed many people like the ladybug one. I used both an Olympus, and Sony camera. Also, when I wrote my website in small white letters, or for example someone puts a logo over their pictures, it's actually called a watermark! I have many photos but I need to have a lot of spare time so I can upload them. I used a photo editing app for 2 pictures, the shell and angel. I took the photos in Canada and Lebanon, and it's okay. The more questions the better!
:)
The cupcake picture looks like one of those pictures from the baking books/Recipe books! It looks really professional. Did you take the cupcake picture in your house?
Thanks so much! I actually did take the cupcake photo in my house. You can check out my passion trailer if you want to see the short process to make the cupcakes.

Wow! I love the pictures that you have taken, I remember some of them from last year. Just a quick question, are some of these images edited? But I know the ones that you took with your camera. My favourite is probably the ladybug one. Great job Sandy! Keep up the good work. :)
Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! I'll answer all the questions when I get home, but I'll answer one of the more asked question right now.
To be honest I have only been to one country around 3 years ago. I have visited a few other countries when I was really young so I don't remember. :)
great photoes! I honestly dont have any suggestions for you except maybe you could say the different country that you took some of the pictures in, and show which pictures.
