LEARNING INTENTIONS: To use the elements of art (line, form, space, shape, colour, and tone), pastels, and proportions in creating a self-portrait using a 'PICASSO-LIKE' style.

ME!------------------------------------------->

REFLECTIONS:
This is my Picasso self portrait. I had some dislikes about this project for some reasons. For example, I was getting an oil pastel that had been mixed with another colour accidentally, so I ended up making a giant blue streak through my hair. Another reason why I didn't like this project was, it was a little messy and it was hard to clean up. Although, I had a lot of fun making it and learning all about the different techniques to make it a Picasso. Some techniques I learned was, connect the eyebrows to the nose, outline lastly, otherwise you will smudge your entire portrait. Also, I learned how to divide up my face in even parts. Some things I can work on next time is, to be more careful because these are oil pastels and it can become very messy and sometimes it will smudge. Finally, I should try in stay inside the lines to make it more professional.

Was this the first time you have ever done a " Picasso? "
